my phone deleted its own startup screens

i don't know how, but my phone no longer has the cingular startup and shut down screen it came with, it just says mobile operator. where can i find the screens again, and then how would i in about setting them back up?

i just got the phone as a mpx220 replacement, so i've installing all my apps and such. first time it happened was when i hit the restart icon on the fascade home screen plug in

The screens may have been replaced by others from a homescreen u have installed or just removed (if the homescreen was ment to do that ). I think u can restore them with a hard reset but the price is kinda big if u haven't backed up your phone .

R u using any homescreen with custom screens ?If so try uninstalling it and restart the phone ,it might do the trick ...
