Charged GPRS for downloading... when we're already PAYING!

Does anyone know whether or not we are charged GPRS rates when we are downloading games and applications - from Orange/Handango? Surely, we shouldn't be charged extra? I know that GPRS is free at the moment but what about when we are going to be charged?

Orange could use the excuse that the download fee is accounted for in the software price. However, what about downloading the application for a second time (may be after a hard reset)?

Does anyone have any ideas on this one?

Yes, when the free offer is over we will be charged for whatever data we receive (and send).

You can download applications using your standard internet connection on your PC and install the app onto your SPV from there.

My understanding was that if you Sign Up for say ..a 5mb a month GPRS subscription anything upto 5mb will be free...after that you pay . And itll be quite a hefty amount i hear too..

About £8/meg, its very advisable to back up anything you download over GPRS to your PC...

It's likely to change significantly by the time April arrives, and we should be seeing something very similar to £6/10 meg, according to the T&C's.
