Guest kulo4 Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 Is it not clear what I wrote, or you just don´t know the answer?
Guest chucky.egg Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 It's an old question, but AFAIK the answer was "hardware limitation" so no software fix will ever be released. I could be wrong though...
Guest Confused Stu Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 One small bypass for this is that the * key can be used at the same time as the direction buttons. Doesn't help much with some games, but if you're looking for where to stick "accelerate" for a driving game it might help, ya know! :)
Guest lekus Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 (edited) I think it's possible to use either of the softkeys along with the joystick/rocker too. Although a lot of games unfortunately can't use this configuration, some games/programs, such as SmartNES for example, can map the softkeys. Edited July 9, 2005 by lekus
Guest mupwangle Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 I upgraded my c500 to ROM 4.2.2.1 and the problem *appeared* to disappear. I had to have my phone replaced and I flashed to 4.2.1.1 and the keypress issue is still there. Possibly the 4.2.2.1 rom fixes it or for some reason my phone was a bit mad. AFAIK there is no official fix.
