E200 and Bluetooth Nokia Car Kit

I have a E200 which I adore, but have just received a car with a Nokia Bluetooth Car Kit installed, its the CK-7W.

I can get my phone to find and bond with the car kit but thats about it. When I make a call or answer a call it just doesnt go through the car kit, but through the phone itself.

My other half can use it with his c500 so I know the kit works, but I am getting most frustrated, what I have noticed is that when I pair with his phone (c500) it asks, after pairing, if I would like to use this as handsfree? My phone doesnt do this, it just bonds and ignores...

Short of mugging my other half of his phone, have you any ideas?

Also the profiles dont appear to work...its stuck in automatic, I have tried selecting and deselecting but that isnt working, many thanks for any ideas
