Guest mookie_gr Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 hello, how can i format the sd card with the qtek s100? thank you.
Guest Pondrew Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 I expect your best bet would be to use a File Explorer. Sure some of the folks here can recommend one or other for you...
Guest Jim81 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 I cant seem to find any options in File Explorer to do it?? Can anyone help? Ive put files on the card (in the root directory) but they cant be read. :)
Guest Pondrew Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 D'oh! File Explorer obviously doesn't have it or if it does it's hiding from me... Will find out what software will do it and let y'all know.
Guest Jim81 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 Ok, ive put a video on the sd card. File explorer can "see" it. I have updated Library on WMP. The video is not there to play!! ](*,) You would think playing a video would be pretty obvious? Not really. Seriously, i think im going to send it back.... Please enlighten me, before i smash this thing up in temper. :)
Guest Pondrew Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 You've used the 'Update Library' option in Windows Media Player 10 Library? What format is the video? Can you open it in File Explorer? Back on how to format SD cards, most peeps seem to recommend using an SD card reader connected to your pc but there is software that'll do it on your Pocket PC. Like mentioned here or here.
Guest Jim81 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 Oh, it was a codec problem. Doh... Back on topic, i can format the card with my card reader no problem, i personally expected the card to need a particular folder structure? Oh well, ill just do my own thing then. :) Not good that it cant format its own card though :D
