Need help on video FPS for C500-

I have Pocket dvd, and have been advised by the creator to set videos between 12 and 15 frames per second for my device, which is an Orange C500. However, when I am watching the films on my phone, I always seem to get the frames overlapping as though the previous frame is still on half of the screen- not all the time, just moments throughout.

Does anyone know the best setting for fps for this particular phone?

For your information I am playing them on The Core media player (previously Betaplayer).

The C500 is fast enough to play at full frame rate so just use original frame rate. Personally I use Pocketdivxencoder which does the job quite well (its really really fast).
