Guest madhatter2k Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 I think the default home screen looks pretty neat, and with a different colour from the default, as well as a groovy background picture, it's all good. i would like to add some subtle bits though, such as my whereabouts using the excellent CellTrack plugin, as well as remaining space and battery power, all of which I have installed. I don't know however, how I can use the information these plugins are generating, and I would love to know how to add this information to the default windows homescreen. i cannot find an xml file for the default one, only a .hif file, and hence can't see a way of doing it... any help would, as always, be appreciated!
Guest scottb Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 The xml for the default home screens should be found in the Windows folder. You can make a copy of them and alter them to your liking. Then save them in Storage\Application Data\Home. Make sure you change the name inside the xml or you won't be able to tell which one is which when you try to select your new one.
