Yahoo Mail (POP3) on SMT5600/C500 Questions

I set up my yahoo mail plus via pop 3 on my smt5600 on T-Mobile USA $4.99 t-zones plan.

Couple questions:

1) is there a way to send an receive faster than every 15 min?

2) How can you force send and receive after composing/sending an email?

3) when i receive a bunch of emails on the phone is there a way to do a mass delete?

4) is there a way to do a mass "mark as read" - kind of like the blackberry's "mark prior opened"

5) How can I have the smt5600 beep/vibrate when I get a yahoo email?

6) sometimes when I have a lot of calendar entries it will take up more space on my home screen, however, I want to see the yahoo line item on my home screen - is there a way to force the yahoo line item to be always in view?
