Guest Tech Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 Hi there. I just found a great price for a mini SD card... it's not by sandisk but by crucial memory. I was wondering - does it matter which brand of mini SD card you buy? Will it work with the SPV C500 (Typhoon)? http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs....DULE=CT512MBMSD I cant find anywhere in the "compatability" list ORANGE or Smartphone or Microsoft any ideas? I have placed an order but can return it when it arrives if i want. I dont know if it will work. It should, I dont see the problem.... any ideas?
Guest usdiver Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 hello, yes you should be ok with this. afaik...nokia are the only ones now that you have to watch what you buy when it comes to memory cards as they have developed their own unique card (looks like an sd card, but thinner). Spv's don't have this problem. I'm using a sandisk (that looks identical to the pic on your link). Memory cards are one of those things that you normally can't return unless there is a problem with it)...but like I said, I think it will work fine.
Guest Tech Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 Thanks a bunch :) I know that with the SPV C500 I got they also gave me a 16MB Sandisk Mini SD card. cool - sorted :D thanks a bunch!
