dash mount & mains charger for new BT TT GPS MKII?

Hi,

Not quite smartphone related but I thought there might be people here that are or have been in a similar position. If I've ballsed up massively please move or close as appropriate.

I've got myself a luuuurverly new TT GPS MKII unit for use with TomTom on my C500, very pleased so far however I only got a car charger with my unit so I'd like to get a mains charger too. Will any 5v BT charger do? Cany anyone recommend a cheap one?

The other thing I'm after is something to keep the gps unit still on the dashboard, I don't know exactly how far apart it can be from the phone so was thinking I shouldn't put it in the glove box. What would be a good idea to mount it? Is something as simple as some adhesive velcro acceptable? I did hear something about magnetic plates, they won't interfere with the GPS I assume?
