SIM help

Hey guys, first wanna give you all credit for this fourm great deal of information! OK here is one of the situations that i am having, I bought a Moto MPX200 running 2003, it is unlocked and i am using T-mobile network. I am seeming to have an issue with the SIM card, when I go to the SIM manager in the start menu, I get the error message "Fail to initinalize SIM, possible radio off or SIM failure" also when starting the phone itself i get a SIM error message there saying "SIM error, SIM SMS full" if there is anyone that can help me in anyway i would greatly appreiciate it!
