Copying large files to C500

I wonder if anyone can help me with this...

I have the C500 with a 512Mb mini SD, and have recently been running DVD Decoder and Pocket DivX to compress movies onto my hard drive. They come out at anything between 130 - 240Mb, which is fine because I only really want 1 movie at a time and some music.

However when I try to copy the films across by dragging and dropping them onto my mini SD card, the progress bar gets about a quarter of the way through, then apparently resets itself back to the beginning again. This just goes on and on and I never actually get the movie onto my phone.

I should say that the other day I noticed that 80 of the 483Mb available could not be used on the card... I saw this in the File Manager - System Info menu. So I popped the card into its SD card converter, put it in a card reader and formatted it. This allowed me the use of those 80Mb but I still cannot copy the movies across. It is a Sandisk memory card and comes with a 5 year warranty. Should I send it back or is there something else I can do?

I would greatly appreciate any help... TYIA

i had this problem awhile ago. but its really not anything big. there is just a bug in active sync, but the file is still transferring fine. ignore the resetting and let it transfer.

Maybe worth investing in a USB 2.0 card reader?
