If you just want to delete all the text messages, you can do: Messaging > Text Messages > Menu > Folders Highlight Inbox and then: Menu > Clear Text Messages Alex

Is there a file like "Outlook.PST" which holds all your contacts?
Guest jimbouk Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Anyone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Assuming you got the phone from orange. You will have got a free copy of outlook on the cd rom from orange with the phone. Install outlook and activesync your contacts to that. Then update your phone, activesync them all back and then you can leave or delete outlook on your pc? Otherwise, use orange back-up on the phone to send all of your contacts and calendar etc to orange, then use restore after the update (will save a lot of data charges if you connect to your pc using activesync, allowing pass-through to the internet, before running backup.
