Where to get your spv c550 and M500 in England now

First to spot the seller who you can purchase your spv c550 and M500 from, Don't rush all at once. I use these people all the time to get my phones b4 ne1 else. They are the one stop phone shop.

Look elsewhere on the forum. OSPS have been claiming to have both phones for weeks - but nobody seems to have got theirs yet.....

Have a look at www.mobileshop.com, they show the C550 as 'In Stock' strange that!!!

I notice www.mobileshop.com has the same website as fonetasticmobile.com, so no coincidence they both claim to be in Stock.

Mobileshop brought fonetastic when fonetastic went bust a while back. Hence the similarities.

Orange Retail will Always be the first retail to stock SPV handsets over other none direct retailers. Do yourselves a favour and go to an Orange shop or existing customers call call 150 to order (if your reeeally lazy) :)

I placed an order for an SPV M500 with OSPS two weeks ago - it was showing as in stock with them at the time. However, upon phoning, myself and various other people were getting different stories told to them about availability. Thursday (I think) before last, I called and got told the morning "It'll be in within a week", then again I called in the afternoon and was told "It'll be in Monday/Tuesday and with you the following Thursday/Friday" and then the next morning I called again and was told "It'll be about two weeks".

So, on Wednesday just gone, I saw that MobileShop said that they had stock, so I placed an order with them - they told me that stock was due in on Friday and would be shipped the same day to most likely arrive with me on this Saturday morning. 9:02 this morning, the postman was stood there with a M500 for me :)

I called OSPS Friday and the guy there just said: "We don't have a confirmed date for the M500 yet". I pointed out that other retailers were shipping the phone and he just repeated the above line.

My advice would be to avoid them like the plague. They have no clue about what is going on within their organisation.

As for MobileShop - that's twice I've used them now - and they haven't disappointed on either occasion.

EDIT: Incidentally, it was just a small delivery that MobileShop received on Friday (I must've been lucky I guess!) BUT - they're expecting another delivery on Monday
