c500 help: missing text in menus

I have the c500s and absolutely love the phone. Have been getting on with it ok, but keep seeing places in the software where the text is missing. Example, where you go into data connection settings and you have the box that you tick or untick for "automatically detect settings"...the automatically detect settings bit is missing. no text. also in msn messenger program, all you can see is the box that you sign into, and the box below for your password...all the other text is missing.

then there is an area in the calendar program that if you go into it...and you go into the "week" view, where you have the days across the top in columns... then on the left, where the times should be, it's blank...no times at all, all the way down is just blank.... call me crazy, but something just doesn't seem right. Does anyone else have this issue, or know if it might be a warranty job??? Thanks in advance

Did u try soft-resetting the phone :idea:

Hi ad, yes, but soft resetting doesn't work...I've even hard reset once, for other reasons, but it has been this way since I've had the phone. Funny enough, I haven't worried about it, but it's annoying me now. I'm on the 4.1.1.4 rom, but updating it this morning...then will let you know if it still is the same... (thanks, by the way)

after doing the new update, and installing my bits...I think I've found the culprit... a home screen background that was designed for the xda iis. I had all my text till I installed this screen background, then I have the problem...So I've done a reset, and installed everything but the bomber flares theme background and I don't have a problem... :) I'm no good when it comes to doing themes...and get frustrated easily....but, guess that's the way it goes.
