Where are SMS messages stored on WM 2003?

Hi Guys,

I am going to put the new update for my Orange c500 on tonight, and I don't really want to lose my messages. Where are they kept on the phone, so that I can copy them to my computer? Could I then just copy them back to the same place after the update, and everything will be ok?
