Guest AMERAKANBADBOY Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Is it possible to remove the MSN messenger (and pocket MSN) program from my Moto MPX200 running 2003? I need some extra space. Any help would be appreiciated! Thanks :) NOTE:: How much "actual" memory is on that phone?
Guest chucky.egg Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Nope, its part of the ROM You can choose to install 3rd party software to the memory card, and reduce the amount used on the phone, if you're running short of memory.
Guest AMERAKANBADBOY Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Such as? I have Oxios Hibernate, is that what you were refering to?
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 If that's all you've installed then that's not the problem. Installing the 2003 OS is obviously going to mess with your available memory since it wasn't officially released for your phone. So you're looking at keeping ringtones, skins, messages to a minimum. There's not much else you can do apart from getting a phone that was designed to have WM2003 installed.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Just get a bigger storage card then you do not need any extra space on the phone, unless you do not empty your deleted mail folder etc as this can fill the phone up.
