Guest loccie8910 Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 I have just upgraded to 4.2.1.1 and now i cant get my TT5 to work. Its not a matter of not getting the phone to connect with my TomTom Receiver, I am unable to agree to the terms and conditions (legal Notice) that comes up when first running it. The I AGREE button just does not work. Any ideas? ANYONE HELP me??
Guest spvdk Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 I don't have a C500 myself any longer, but I have read somewhere that you'll need a file called CurrentMap.dat inside this folder \storage\my documents\tomtom. For some reason TT5 doesn't (always) create this file by itself? A backup of that file from the old TT should be ok, though...

You could even copy a MP3 in it and delete after the first tomtom-run.
Guest mavisdavis Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 Create a folder in Storage/My Documents and call it TomTom then drag a picture into it. Any wll do TT5 needs this folder to drop the map config file into it :)

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Why not use the TomTom GPS unit?
