C500 on O2

I'm about to take delivery of a C500 Locked to orange.

My plans are to app unlock it, then sim unlock it so I can use my o2 sim.

Can anyone advise me on the settings for O2 Wap for this phone?

Is it possible to flash the rom with a vanilla image, instead of the orange one. I.e Use the original HTC Typhoon image?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated
