Guest simonastro Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 Having read an earlier thread on bluetooth manager problems I thought I would be OK! Up until somebody kindly gave me a bluetooth headset today I had never needed bluetooth and so had disabled it a while back to save battery life and prevent hackers from accessing my top secret celebrity contacts!! ( if anyone wants to text bomb neil morrisey PM me ) Trying to re-enable it I kept getting "..bluetooth radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available..." checking memory allocation I freed up some space so I have 45mb and tried again no luck So wearily backed up and did a hard reset Works fine. Restored my data Doesn't work OK so went to xda-developers and worked how to update bluetooth First upgraded radio to 1.13 Restored my data Then upgraded bluetooth to 3900 Still doesn't work! grrrrr It'll take me at least 3 hours to hard reset and then install all of my software and if I have to check which app is blocking the bluetooth drivers between each install I shall go mad I would have thought installing the latest drivers over my current configuration would have sorted it any ideas? I've been wrestling with bl**dy wire headphones in the car for too long grrrr
Guest simonastro Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 oops this should have been in PC help worked it out though bluetooth manager will report that error message if BTtrayCE.exe is not run first ha
