Hi

Does anyone know how to roll back ROM versions for the C500. I've just installed ROM version 4.2.1.1 and found that the device will no longer attached to my GPS device, even after a large amount of playing around with COM ports etc.

I want to roll back to version 4.1.1.4, however when I try it won't let me. Is there any trick to it?? Would I need to do a hard reset on the device?? (I hope not as it would mean unlockng it again).

thanks

Jamie

Many thanks for your help here, that did the trick perfectly, you guys certainly know your stuff. My phone is back on the old 4.1.1.4 ROM and working perfectly with Tomtom 4.

Great help, much appreciated! :)

Upgraded to the new ROM. TT5 mobile now no longer works, so am trying to get back to my old ROM. Have read the threads on how to do it, but where can I actually get a ROM that isn't French?

Cheers

Hi there, I follwoed those instructions and it seemed to be a successfully rollback, however it is now just sitting at the bootloader screen not booting..??

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I just heard from ORANGE SWITZERLAND that the GPRS connection is hangup after 3 hours "wait state" to free system capacity.

It will reconnect automatically next time you make a GPRS connection.

If it doesn't, change this in your Internet Connections setttings: choose "Internet" instead of "Automatic".
