Guest Zim Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 Well over at xda-developers member itsme has cracked the sim lock for all HTC Pocket pc phones. extract from itsme's post HOW TO USE: copy it to your phone, and run it. some diagnostic output will be in the file \xdadev_all_unlock.log if it gives an error, try resetting, and running it again. if for some reason your phone is suddenly locked, the unlock code will probably be '00000000' no coldboot required. model numbers supported: himalaya: PH10A PH10B alpine: PH10C magician: PM10A PM10C blueangel: PH20B PH20B1 warning: use at your own risk. and I am not able to relock the phone for you. so, if for whatever reason you may get in trouble for unlocking your phone, that is your problem. to download the tool please visit Here and remember any modifications to your phone are at your OWN RISK I have tested it on my MDA Compact and can confirm that it does work Zim

Guest Abecedarian Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 Okay, I know this is the PocketPC forum, but SPV-Developers hasn't addressed this on their website and show no indication of doing so. So I am asking it here, hoping that SOMEBODY from the SPV team is watching. Has SPV-Developers completely abandoned the SMT-5600 version of the Typhoon, to move onto other European Windows Mobile devices?
