Guest arnebret Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 All of suden i have problems with my C500 and ActiveSync. When i hook it up to the USB, it will connet, it synchronizes and i can use explorer on the mobile. After a while (30 seconds) the explorer freezes up and another 30 seconds later the activesync times out and disconnects. The cable is properly connected and i tried resetting and deleting partnerships. But it really seems like a software issue, maybe resulting after a windows update or something? Any help is more than welcome

Any help is more than welcome <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just found out: it's the PC not the phone. I hooked it up to my laptop and i connected the same way, but it just stays connected without a glitch. I am really suspecting a windows security update causing this. Any known cases?
Guest rikwebb Posted July 14, 2005 Report Posted July 14, 2005 What version of activesync is it ?? V4.0 is known to have these problems. Rik

Just installed a new windows update a few days ago, after that it started. I didn't even knew V4.0 existed :)

I'll look if i can find any earlier posts, maybe a solution is already at hands.
