My MDA3 keeps not realising that it has an SD card plugged into it, which can be a right pain as it has Tomtom navigator installed on it, and it stops everything working! Has anyone else experienced a similar problem that they managed to fix? The only way I seem to be able to fix it is by resetting it, but I'd rather not have to do that (expecially since I end up resetting it several times a day.)

Also, my phone has, on one occasion, managed to wipe my whole SD card completely - no idea why? Is this something that can happen a lot (unless you protect the card?)

Thanks

My M2000 used to keep "losing" the SD card on an almost daily basis, and once wiped it completely with no warning at all.

Read somewhere that there was an issue with SPB Pocket Plus, and earlier HTC designs (although not apparently the Blue Angel), which could cause them to lock up if you had a today-screen counter showing the SD card usage/free space.

I was using the SD counter, so decided to remove it anyway, and since then it's only lost the SD card three times (in about 3 months) and has never wiped it again. Might be worth trying if you're using Pocket Plus too.

Im not using any plugins or anything but my M1000 does this all the time, even when the card is being accessed. M2000 doesnt do it at all, even with the same card.

There were lots of reports of this when the M1000 was first around. I think someone found a fix but you'll have to google it as I cant recall where I saw it.
