Guest gutta_percha Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 Well this won't help you but it may make you feel a little less alone. I have exactly the same problem on my 500 model. And my alarm clock is set at 7 am! I think I will have to reinstall windows mobile but I can't seem to find a download yet so I'm trawling MoDaCo.... Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 This is a known bug and has been around since the very first SPV back in 2002. I found the cause of this problem recently and it's caused by a glitch in the registry. If you want to have the shortdate style I have posted instructions for fixing this problem. http://www.modaco.com/Error_when_entering_...me-t221471.html Also before I forget this bug is down to the actual regional language you use, so if you select Germany for example the bug will not appear.
Guest gutta_percha Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 I have just found this out for myself. I had a conflict between my local time settings and my language. I've just rebooted and now my settings are accessible once more. PHEW thanks anyway This is a known bug and has been around since the very first SPV back in 2002.
