Bluetooth Serial Port activation

Hi all.

I’ve got a Bluetooth Holux GPSlim236 that Works, been tested on other devices.

I’ve got a MPx220 with 1.43 T&T ROM turned into unbranded. Need the T&T version instead of the Cingular one cause it has Portuguese language.

Problem is the Serial Bluetooth configuration settings aren’t present..

So then I connect the GPS thru Bluetooth and RUN SmartHiker, go under settings and try to choose the COM6 port witch is the supposed to be the serial port, but there is no COM6 port. All the remaining other COMs are there, and I’ve tested them all with no success.

Made all the registry hacks, reboots and no reboots and all sort of combinations:

KEYS:

KEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Bluetooth and changed the two keys to '1'

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/Serial/Ports set to COM6

Still the COM6 port wont appear at the SmartHiker settings menu…

Need help on this one =(
