"Installation in progress..." and NOTHING

Hi!

Victim: SPV ROM 1.60.10

After running a common procedure of phone software installation the phone

screen shows a message, that .cab is donwloaded successfully and installation is in progress... and throws back to a home screen as nothing happened.

The same with ALL programs I've tried to install to my phone using ActiveSync.

Copying .cab file to the phone and running it is ok, it's the only way I can install anything to that !@#$ box. :twisted:

A week ago everything was ok, the problem appeared suddenly with no actual reasons for it. I've tried to install software from another PC with ActiveSync, finally I've ran a ROM Update once again...but nothing.

What is the solution?

When the first installation failed it was probably down to not enough physical memory. The following problems with further failed installations can be due to the first failure. Go to IPSM\Windows\AppMgr\Install and delete what you find there.

Thanks a lot! Hope it will work next time if I have the same trouble. I've updated ROM just now. Everything seems to be ok. The only thing left to do is to unlock uncertified applications installation. :)
