Are the java runtime on the htc typhoon compatible with any other phones? I know that it runs standard midlets, and it does NOT run nokia and sony ericsson specific midlets. But since most java-game selling sites does not support smartphone, are there any phones that are compatible with our java? I heard that some motorola midlets will work?

And yes, I do know that you'll probably say why waste your time and effort on java? But.. you know.. i HAVE to know! :-)

So, is there any way to run Nokia/SE midlets on qtek8010/8020? I think those come with Tao MIDP which doesnt run any SE midlets I have :)

Is there any midlet manager other than Delta and IBM?

(sorry to bring this topic again, I'm a new member with a new smartphone... hehehe...)

I do not have an XPhone II at hand and not familiar with the java Midlet manager version of XPhone II but the one that comes with Orange 4.2.2.1 (MIDP 2.0 v10.1.2.57) is able to play some seimens and motorola midlets.

Haven't tried SE/Nokia midlets. Those are already out of my interest. :)
