Guest EMGenius Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 Hi all, I have just myself a new SPV c550, and i love it, i used to have spv 100 and i loved that, then i went to a normal samsung and i missed my spv! - the problem is that i have forgotten how SPV's work and all of the little tweaks that i used to know! anyway, ... I have a problem, i cant figure out how to play my own mp3's (from my comp) in the Orange music player, I even resorted to the manual (which i hate to do!!!) but it just talks about playing downloaded tracks. I am sure that there is a simple solution ot this, but i cant figure it out! It has been just over a year since i played with my old SPV and i just cant get my head round it again!!! Any help or pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Ian

If you use the music buttons on the phone you will want to change them to wmp by clicking on the start soft key, choose setting[4], then more[0], then button settings[8] and change player to wmp. Hope this helps. Edited July 17, 2005 by head3d

I would think that would be a major oversight if that is the case :?: Thanks for the tip on changing the buttons; i will certainly do that! Ohwell, WMP it is .... for now.... :) has anyone else been able to play their own mp3's in the orange player? Thanks, EMG
Guest the_ape Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 The orange media player is only a hook on IE and a hook on WMP anyhow.... Don't bother with it unless you really want to download music over GPRS..... Can't see the point myself!
