Guest gspace Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 Hi, I've been using my new C550 with no problems, except when I try and use the mini Sd card ( 256mb sandisk ) from my old C500. If I put the old card in, the phone continues to work ok except when i access "orange world" - the system loses all of my "personalised" settings, eg my home screen, my pocket, my trains. If I take the card out and use the phone with no sd card, it returns to normal and all of my settings are back. When I try the card that came with the phone, it works ok. When I put the old card in, it forgets. So, I'm assuming that because "orange world" works when there is no data card in the phone, the problem isnt being caused by a setting file being stored on the card. Is it a "formatting" issue? is it a validation problem? I am happy to just reformat the card, but wouldnt know where to start. ALL help is greatly appreciated !! Many thanks Gary
