Screen Resolution for WMP on M500?

What is the effective screen resolution for movies on WMP10 on the M500?

I want to encode some of my films to wmv, but I don't know what the maximum screen size should be. Is it different for portrait and landscape?

You need to set it to 320 x 240 and rotate the screen in the media player.

I would suggest that you look at PocketDivXEncoder and Beta Player if you want to encode and watch movies.

I used a few third party players on my E200 smartphone, and always found wmv to give the best playback and file size. But now my M500 is on its way, I need to play around to find new fps settings etc with windows media encoder.

I would have to disagree with you there, DivX was always the best for encoding and watching movies on smartphone (and I did weeks of testing to work that out).

Should be running some tests on my M500 to find out the peak performance/settings, stay tuned!
