Never seen anything that lets you change the main screen's contrast.
Guest Crobat Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 well i know.. than no way or maybe a registry hack?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 There is a registry hack for the C500 along gamma settings. Gamma settings can cause colors to look too dark or too light, losing detail to the viewer. I noticed that adjusting the phone's gamma value to lower value gives darker fonts especially on pop-up menus. The default value for the C500 is '1500'. Setting a higher value (for instance 5000) results to 'lighter' fonts on a 'faded' background. Target registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\Gamma Mine is set to 10 Please try it at your own risk. I give no assurance that it will work on the MPx device.
Guest Crobat Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Thanks for the post, i tried it but unfortunetly it said "Unable to perform operation" maybe i should ask the technical service for this?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 I forgot to tell you that Gamma is located on a protected registry area. The easiest way to change the value is through cab provisioning. Attached is a CAB file which sets Gamma value to 10. Try it at your own risk. Thank you.Gamma.10.cab
