opera 8 on 02 help

hi everyone, this is my first post so forgive me if this is in the wrong area,

anyway im having problems using the new opera browser. i have a orange spv c500 unlocked and using o2 sim card. i have been able to use the beta versions but when i installed opera 8 orange it will not work properly. i get the message "unable to connect" and "download is not supported in this version of the opera browser .i have tried altering the opera.ini file as before but there is no proxy setting as there used to be. please help as i am pulling what little hair i have left out.

finally ive managed to get opera working. for anyone having problems heres what to do.

1. open the opera folder in "application data"

2. cut and paste the opera.ini file to your desktop

3. open with notepad

4. cut and paste the below lines at the bottom of the file

[Proxy]

Use HTTP=1

Use HTTPS=1

HTTP Server=193.113.200.195:8080

HTTPS Server=193.113.200.195:8080

Enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy=1

5. close and save new info

6. copy adjusted opera.ini file back into the opera folder

7. restart your phone

8. be patient the first time you try to connect as it seemed forever for mine
