geting a C550 over here ?

Hi y'all (from Ireland)

I recently made the faux-pas or ordering a qtek 8100 thinking it was the equivilent of Oranges C550. Expansys say they have a 21 day return policy so thats going back.

Theres no sign of a release date for the qtek 8200 (this IS the equivilent of the C550) and the way things go it probably won't be released for ages.

My question is does anyone know if the C550 can be got without a contract (pay as you go) and then a company that will ship to Ireland ?

Hi George thanks for the reply and apologies for my blindness but I can't find them for payg anywhere on ebay.co.uk !

Found one but it's contract and only ships to UK.

If you can post a link easily I'd appreciate it?

Like I said, there expensive though, you could try ordering from Onestopphoneshop they are MUCH cheaper (on contract, but TOTAL COST isabout £100), but I'm not sure if they ship to Ireland.

If you go to Quidco then you will get cashback on purchases aswell! If you click on "Mobiles & Utilities" it gives a list of mobile phone sites aswell!

Thanks George, I searched but couldn't find doh :roll:

pretty expensive but about the same as what expansys will cost (sim free) and there ain't no fear that any operator in Ireland is gonna start stocking smartphones. Asked someone from Vodafone the other day (who seemed to be a bit more on the ball than most of the muppets I usually get) and he never heard of a smartphone !!
