Hey guys, has anyone ordered a C550 of www.onestopphoneshop.com, and if so, have they actually recieved the handset yet? How long did delivery take?

Yes, a few of us have received them. I ordered on 03/07 and received it on Saturday (16/07).

I ordered 10/07 received 18/07. It was fun to ring them up and ask if they had them in stock, be told "yes and it'll be shipped in 24 hours" and then ring them back next day and be told they've never had them in stock. This happened several times. At least it's arrived now. Although they forgot to send the BT headset :cry: . I don't think I'll use them again as they don't seem to know what they're doing. Only plus point is that the people themselves seem easy to get through to and quite helpful once on the phone - I just think the company's admin instantly nullifies the good intentions of their staff. Wouldn't be suprised if morale there is at rock-bottom.

Anyway, hope yours arrives soon.

Some months back I ordered a c500 which was free on contract with T-Mobile but for an additional £79.00 you would receive a bluetooth sat-nav device with Co-pilot software to run on the phone.

I received the handset promptly but no sat-nav when I phoned them I was told queries would only be dealt with by email, So I emailed and emailed and emailed and I phoned and phoned and phoned and they ignored Ignored Ignored.

So my advice would be Don't touch them with a bargepole

I'd always used onestopphoneshop to buy my mobiles online - until I ordered my first Orange SPV. "Yes we have it in stock". 3 weeks and a million phonecalls to them later, I still did not have the phone. I gave up and ordered elsewhere and vowed never to use them again. ( a decision I will always regret! 1 day battery life, what a joke)

My current contract with BT was due to expire last week and I had been holding out as long as I could for the C550 to get released. I thought I'd be spontaneous and check to see if it was available yet, as July was the expected date. Onestopphoneshop were the only website listing the C550, and also in stock! Panick!

I gave them a ring - "yes we have it in stock, will be with you next wednesday". I took the risk. I ordered it on July 14th, and it arrived two days earlier than scheduled on Monday the 18th. I was dead impressed.

I always said that once they'd sorted the battery life problems and made the phones a bit less bulkier, I'd come running back to the SPV with open arms, so I'm glad to be finally back in the SPV community :)

I ordered mine on 11th August and still have not got it - they tell me it's out of stock each time I ring, but I don't think they know what they're talking about...

Tell me about it!.......

Ordered mine and was told to expect it next day. Did not arrive...

Two weeks of haggling before somebody told me that Orange have recalled all C550's over the dust issue.

I cancelled the order immediately and vowed never to use Onestopphoneshop again.

Biggest gripe is that their sales people are commission based and tend to take orders knowing they cannot fulfill. No email confirmation of orders taken over the phone which means nothing in writing to back up what you have ordered. I also was told that my order included free bluetooth headset when I placed it but they said no afterwards and asked me to take it up with customer services. They update their website daily so they are free to move the goal posts.

p.s. Ordered my SPV C550 from Orange pay as you go instead and was told delivery was 5-7 working days. To be fair, Orange also took my order but two days later got an email telling me the phone was out of stock. They also had problems with their delivery system which meant me getting my handset nearly 1 week late.

Difference with Orange was that they offered me my first month's spend refunded as credit on my phone. Thanks Orange!
