c550 bluetooth

HELLO TO ALL .

my first post.

i got a c550 on monday and all is brilliant,(gave the old samsung d500 to the wife).

my question is this.

Is it possible to BT images , ringtones and videos to another compatible phone with BT with the c550.

for example, i took a great little pic of my son and the only way i could send it was by IR.

The options only allow send via mms or beam or email.

any help most apreciated.

You can try SmartExplorer, a program able to send files via BT

BT & IR beam are accessed in the same way, you just need to have BT turned on before beaming.

As long as BT is discoverable on both phones, sending from the C550 should work ok

I bluetoothed a few pics, exe files and zip files from the C550 to the old C500, works great :)
