Guest MelSellsOC Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Ok so I just made a homescreen using the homescreen designer program and I put three plug-ins (I don't know if I'm even using the right word) on my homescreen: profile, text msg, and alarm. But they are just listed on the homescreen, any way to add icons next to them? Would also like to know how to add a plug-in to the homescreen without using the homescreen designer. I just downloaded RegEdit...what can I do with this other than re-arrange the start menu???
Guest SilverDragon Posted August 28, 2005 Report Posted August 28, 2005 hija first question: the plug-ins you installed don't come with an image/icon option. Most skinners therefore put on the backdrop (the wallpaper) the image they would like to have (let's say an alarmclock) next to the plugin. If you use homescreen designer, you can position the plugin, just right next to the icon. 2nd: I do most skinning in notepad, or in an syntax highlighted texteditor (editPlus). When using plugins that cannot be found in homescreen designer this is the only way to go (that i know of). 3rd RegEdit, can tweak a lot more, but i can't help you with that. i know you can change the default skin for your mediaplayer with it, and a few other default things. cheers
