I am thinking of getting a T-mobile MDA compact with the CoPilot gps offer.

My questions is if I use the gps which is bluetooth what happens if I use a bluetooth headset and I recieve a call? Does the MDA prioritise the headset over the gps, or what?

Alternatively is there a non bluetooth car kit which would wire the MDA through the car speakers?

Thanks for any assitance

The MDA can cope with two BT-settings - so when you get a phonecall you can use your BT headset, and the BT GPS navigation will go on, but mutes itselves! Or so it does in TomTom 5.

The speaker ind MDA is a little weak, and with the stereo going you cant hear the navigationvoice, and it wont go in your headset anyways!

Agree with your comments, Joost39. It has taken me 2 months to make the JAM fully functional and now, with rom & radio 1.12 everything works fine. Except for one thing: the voices from TT5 aren't understandable at all. They sound like a radio from the 40's. Re-install won't help and all other sounds on the JAM are ok. Does anybody have this same problem? Tomtom themselves seem to take ages to answer and I would really like Lucie telling me where to go.

Regards,

Sergio

That's odd, my MDA Compact speaker is poor with the standard things - like MS Voice Command, Speakerphone etc. But with TomTom 3, there is a voice settings in Properties, and it's more than loud enough - I donlt even have it on Max.

Odd that TTN5 is so poor.

Or there's a problem with your speaker.

It's less than low, it's crispy, it's like a transsexual Lucie. I want my Lucie back and Tom Tom doesn't seem to care!

Però Joost, nessun altro c'ha 'sto problema?

Ciao,

Sergio

All programs work just fine. It's just with TT5 that there is a crispy ununderstandable voice or even no voice at all.

Notes, phone, games, signals, sounds, alarms, are all ok.

Some conflict maybe?
