Cannot wake my M500 up

Just got my M500 and have found that if I leave it for 30 mins (quite hard!) even pressing the power button (short press or long) will not wake it up.

The green phone LED is still flashing so it hasn't crashed.

The only way I can get it to start again is by removing the battery cover and putting it back on again.

I've got the 'Lock all buttons except power' option selected.

No BT running.

Doesn't sound good. Could it be some non standard software locking it up?

Anyone else come across this?

My Jam will do something similar.

I wouldn't go as far as removing the battery though. Either attaching to a power cable or soft resetting will revive it.

Oddly neither battery is anywhere near running flat :?:

Yep, same here - the batteries are pretty much fully charged.

The only thing that I can think of that's causing it are the drivers for the SafeCom wifi card that I'm using, cos that's all that's on there really.

I'll take them out and see what happens.

How do you do a soft reset? I'm just taking the battery cover off, replacing it and then hitting the power button and it [soft] resets.

I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be happening though :)

If you look at the bottom of the phone with the USB connector to the left and headphone socket to the right, just down and to the right of the headphone socket, you will see a small round hole inside which is the reset switch - use your stylus to press it.
