Can anyone point me in the direction of the PIT Editor that can be used for creating Caller ID Templates (with a .pit extension)

Using this tool, can you create a new PIT file?

When I use it it only gives me the option to open an existing. This then doesn't let me change a great deal.

The other thing I can do is open a gif but even tho I have the gif the correct size it comes up with the error must be of xxx size for smartphones!

So in a nutshell, I can actually do anything with it - I am missing something or doing something wrong?

I want to create a PIT file that simply looks the same as the Windows Default Homescreen on a C500.

I've never actually used it myself but the zip package does include 2 copies of the manual.

From a brief look, do you not add a gif and go from there ?
