Guest ColinR Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 First post so firstly Hi :) I recently upgraded my C500 to WM2005, and sinse have been having trouble sync'ing. I college suggested I have a look on here. I'll try to explain the problem fully: On my home PC, the Device can not be found when trying to set up a partnership between my phone and XP Pro. If I run the phone in tri-colour mode, it is recognised as new hardware. I can also see it in the Device Managed, but not under "USB Connections", its under "Window CE USB" or something like that. When I return the phone to standard mode and plug back in to sync, I again can not find the device using the Connection Wizard, or through Device Manager, however it does create a LAN connection to the phone, and I can Explore the phone. I've tried updating my USB Drivers, for which I have the most recent. I've tried it in all 6 of my USB ports. I have tried reinstalling, repairing, restarting, removing, installing, in about as many orders as is possible, and still have the same problems! I've followed trouble shooting, which has shed no light. I am using Outlook 2002, Active Sync 4.0, Windows Mobile 2005. Originally the software was installed on my work PC, where I was having other problems sync'ing (85010014 error) - but suspect it my have been a clash between our mail client and Outlook. Lastly, I last sync'ed my phone on Sunday evening without problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Colin
