Guest hawkwindz2000 Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 im having trouble getting the blue angel to send any files to other devices via BT. I have a c500 which is set to discoverable and the Bluey sees it but if when using resco file explorer u select a file to send the follwoing prompt appears on the angel "The connection to the peer bluetooth device failed" Its drivin me bonkers. does anyone know what the hell is up before i buzz the lot inbto the sea out of sheer frustration also if u use the bt connection wizard on the blue angel and say browse files on a remote device. Again the spv500 shows as selectable but this is the follwoing prompt "service discovery was unsuccsessful. please make sure the remote device is turned on (it is!!) Bluetooth is enabled (it is!!)and the device is discoverable (again it is!!!)
Guest Pondrew Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 Check on your C500 in Start Menu / Settings / Beam that the 'Receive Incoming Beams' is ticked as I don't believe it will accept file transfers without it. Unfortunately I've never got Bluetooth Manager on my Blue Angel (MDA III) to Discover Services offered by either my SPV E200 or SPV C500. Don't think the SPV Smartphones work in that regard. You should be able to send a file though, just sent an mp3 from my MDA III using the built in File Explorer to my E200.
