T9 versus iTAP

Trying to decide between an MPX220 and SMT5600. I hear T9 is better, any opinions.

Well, I wouldnt base my descision on just the T9 vs Itap function. In general, the SMT5600 is a much better phone. (Based on comments in here etc)

My advice is, go with the SMT and you won't regret it :)
