Alert window for text messages

Hi

When i had a previous phone, when i got an sms, i would get a window come saying it had arrived rather than just the counter incrmenting. Can this be done on the c500?

I have written some custom screens but when an sms arrives it simply increments the sms counter and displays the envelope. i want a completelty different screen to be loaded. Is it a clsid i havent come across.....?
