Can't hard reset

I am trying to hard reset my C500 running the latest ROM (albeit the french version)

I have followed the instructions as posted on all the sp sites but it does nothing.

Anyone any ideas?

Plus, will it put the phone back to the earlier ROM that it came istalled with, or put it back to the French one installed but wipe all the data off it.

Hard resetting the Typhoon series is tricky but with the right timing you'll get it right.

It took me a few goes after installing the UK ROM update.

The ROM is unaffected; whatever you are running now will be there after the hard reset.

As you say though, you will lose all data (Contacts, Messages, Calendar, photos, ringtones etc) unless you copy them to your PC first.
