It's early days for the C550 but when the resizing ssue is sorted for the new res it will probably be the best to get.

For the meanwhile I would look at the C500 but it is starting to get old in phone terms.

I would go for the C550 simply for the better screen resolution :)

The 550 has a better camera and screen, however the software is still the old version.

I also found the keys very fiddly as they are a little smaller then the 500... if you want a bargin then the 500 is a good option but i would wait until the next software release before buying a new phone on a contract.

I have had the pleasure of seeing the new software on a C500 (don;t think they are releasing this) and it is a major improvement. The sync is 10 times quicker with no issues and email not only looks great it syncs as fast as using 3G and the looks like the new outlook.

It has made me send the new 550 back for this reason alone.
