Guest bz999 Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Upon reading various articles reagrding the new OS, I have found that the new version natively supports the "voice command" feature. However, I have also read it is up to the manufacturer to include the feature. 1. Can somebody tell me if it is available at this time somewhere in the OS :??: 2. Is there a registry fix to enable the feature :??: If not, what are my alternatives to "voice command" software. I have looked and havent found anything too convincing and would like some direction as to where to look. Thanks 8) ~matt
Guest argh Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 I don't know of anything for WM5, yet. Cyberon Voice Commander can perform some voice command functions, though (and read out SMS messages, etc.) I found Fonix Voicedial to be more accurate at recognising names, but it has less features (just voice dialling and reading out names and numbers).

I will look into it... and also its compatiblity with WM5. :) Still .. anybody have an idea as to the built in software in WM5...?????
Guest argh Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 It could only be on the PPC version of WM5, or it could be similar to WM2003, where the OS supported voice dialling, but the phone vendor had to purchase an implementation separately. But I'm just guessing :)
