Guest chigwa Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Is it possible to populate contacts via a cab file - we have a large number of phones to distribute contacts to so ideally they would visit a website for the cab file - run it and all contacts would be installed. This would then cross populate when they next sync to outlook. If this is possible how would i go about doing it?
Guest Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 I haven't seen anything like this being used. Are you using the phones in a business environment? If you are, and are on Exchange you can download an app from Microsoft so users can lookup the GAL.
Guest chigwa Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Yes we are using in business environment but we are still on exchange 5.5!! Not moving to 2003 until end of year - really looking for an interim quick fix.
