Partitioning memory card?

hi, is it possible to partition space on memory cards, ie 1gb has only 256mb for video, 256mb for programs, 256mb for pictures etc etc etc... at the mo i'm only using 16mb card :shock: & am finding that the phone actually has more space for videos & pictures than the card, so if i want to keep stuff on there it's a juggling act between the two. i will upgrade to 1gb card soon, so it would be nice if i could physically limit parts of that space so video clips won't invade space i've reserved for music... is there such an app out there that can do this?
