Guest louisg Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 I have a spvc500 and when i had my data cable connect to pc a alert came up saying A usb device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. I disconected and tried it agin to no joy. i even tried another usb cable and battery charger on phone. I will not even charge now, so i know the phone connection socket is fried. As i data cable cause i tried that out on another spv. So the thing is how do i get my phone numbers off the phone? Orange back up is not working, keeps hanging. I cant back up to my pc for obvious reasons above. Desperatly need to get my numbers off phone but dont want to have to write down over 300 numbers. Any ideas? i have saved photos, films, music to my memory card so managed to salvage them at least. Please help Louis

Guest squall Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 can i suggest you try connecting the phone to the pc without using a usb hub? some usb hubs just dont have enough power to make it work, so connecting directly to the usb port may do the trick
